This past week

The kids first Halloween came and went so fast...

Friday we took the kids to my parents neighbors house where the kids were a hit.

Saturday our church had a Harvest party and we took the kids to that as well.

The kids did great on both accounts, which means it may be getting easier to take them out.

The previous week we had even taken the kids down to San Diego were we stayed the night. Amazing how much room is needed to set up 3 pack n plays. But we did it and the kids slept through the night and enjoyed being in a different location.

Below is a video of Wyatt's new thing, standing up in his crib. He pulls up on anything he can, I have a feeling that he will be walking soon. He's even trying to go up the stairs now.

Poems

I found these special poems on another triplet mommys' site:

Triplets
So many good things come in threes,
Like Musketeers and ABC's.
But triplets are the best of all
From little ones to those quite tall.
Its extra laughter, triple grins.
With Joys and mischief's multiplies
And two defenders by each side.
So much alike forever linked,
And yet they're also quite distinct.
They share a birthday and a name,
But moods and tempers aren't the same.
From days of youth till life is done,
Its one for all and all for one.
We're all quite novel and precise,
But special folks-God made them thrice!

Triplets
There're three to wash,
there're three to dry.
There're three to argue,
There're three to cry
Two are in the mud having a ball,
The other holds a crayon,
just look at the wall!
Some days seem endless,
my patience leaves me.
Why was I chosen to be a mother of three?
The answer comes clear at the end of each day.
As I tuck them in bed and to myself I say
There're three to kiss, there're three to hug.
And best of all there're three to love!

Recent pics

Most of the above pictures were taken by Laura, a very good friend of mine that has recently picked up photography and has a great talent for it.

Updates

I wanted to start this blog to update family members and friends on the kids.

The triplets will be 11 months on November 9th. I can't believe how fast this year has gone. It seems like just yesterday we were practically living in the hospital with the babies.

Both Wyatt and Hudson are crawling now, Wyatt on all fours and Hudson is doing the combat crawl. Abbey doesn't like being on her belly too much so she's determined to crawl on her back :) She'll probably figure out how to scoot on her bottom...ha
We're in the process of baby proofing the house now and we have two large gates that can be made into many shapes, so those will come in handy very soon.

Wyatt has 4 teeth already, his top and bottom two. And his cuspins (fangs) and getting ready to come in too. Hudson has his bottom two as well and little miss Abbey still has no teeth.

The kids are all healthy and great eaters, they love feeding themselves and trying new foods.

Thanks for all your prayers over the last year!!!

Pumpkin Patch

Last night we took the kids to the Pumpkin Patch in Laguna Hills.

Wyatt was a penguin, Hudson a turtle and Abbey a butterfly. They all kept their costumes on and didn't try to pull anything off :)
The kids liked watching the rides and the animals.

The first one

I'm getting ready for the triplets first birthday so I needed to take pictures yesterday for their invitation. Taking a picture of 3 kids at once is never easy...but I think this one turned out ok.
Wyatt is on the left then Abbey and Hudson is on the right.
I decided to do a pirate themed party because it's a unisex theme and well, I like them :) I know they all say that the First birthday is basically for the parents but I really wanted this first year to be something memorable for my kids.
Every year I will probably make a production out of their birthdays but it is only because it's a miracle that all three are here and healthy. I want to celebrate their birth.
